In addition to my classroom teaching, I have also served as a Literacy Coach for Lincoln Unified School District.  Since 2015, I have worked with the district's talented staff to create new ideas, foster critical-thinking lessons, and adapt new technologies to the classroom environment.  As a specialist in the Reading Apprenticeship Program, I help teachers become model readers and writers for their students so as to create a community of learners inside of their classroom. Most recently, as Director of Digital Instruction, I have had the privilege of helping inspire our teachers to utilize the power of educational technology to augment their instruction and help kids create their own meaningful content. All this has been made possible by the strong support and resources provided by Lincoln Unified School District.  LUSD has always been a student-centered district whose taken great pride in harnessing the power of our wonderful staff in an effort to provide the best education for our students, and I am proud to be part of that community.
